Regular meetings of the PTC are held the first Thursday of the month.
Parents, Guardians, Grandparents and Teachers: We look forward to your input to make our school even better for our students. Our efforts would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and sponsors.
VHS PTC supports students through our fundraising efforts, so far this year the PTC has sponsored the following:
- Spirit Day--wear your school shirt on Friday
- Student of the Month Lunch
- Student of the Month T-Shirt
- Stuff the Bus Classroom Supplies Donation
- Scholastic Book Fair
- Harvest Festival
- Red Ribbon Week
- The Holiday Store
- Jog-A-Thon T-Shirt Design Contest
- Movie Night
- End of the Year BBQ
After School Program
The PTC also funds the Funworks field trip and works closely with Mr. Cassinetto, Director, on other events throughout the year.
School Site Improvementss
The PTC contributes to a variety of site improvements both inside and outside the classroom.
The efforts of the PTC has resulted in opening separate libraries on each campus for the 2015-16 school year. The PTC also purchases new books for our library each year with funds made possible by all who participate in the Scholastic Book Fair.
PTC coordinates volunteers to demonstrate teacher appreciation during the first week of May that coincides with Day of the Teacher.
Box Top collections are going well... Do you have some at home from over the last few months??? Turn those in to earn proper credits for you and your classes chances of winning... Keep up the great work!!! Last collection day for the year will be April 30th.
Box Tops this year will fund assemblies.
